Fresh Start

I'm going to have another go - having given up on the 23 things for librarians, I've found this one which is self-paced so hopefully will suit me better. It also has an advance section which sounds like a challenge!

Flickr Problems

Have just got round to Thing 7 (think I'm about a week behind) . I have a flickr account but it seems to have been deactivated so have to wait 24 hours for them to find my stuff! This is one of my problems - I just don't have the time to keep up with all these things and then I get demoted through non-use! Maybe I should just pick one thing and stick with it!

Intute RSS feed

Found an RSS feed to subscribe to and eventually worked out how to get it to talk to Google reader. All websites seem to do it differently. I guess it's a matter of geting savvy about these things through practice. Am not keen to get too many feeds going though as I don't get a chance to look at them!

Google Reader

Signed up to Google reader which worked fine for about a fortnght but which can't find anything at the moment! I'll see if it works tomorrow - don't think I've done anything different to it today. RSS readers can be a bit frustrating in my opinion - they don;t always seem to update when they should. Never had one dropping off the scale before though!

Am struggling to find time to do all my 23 things - hope I don't get too behind! I am also concerned that my i Google page is too distracting - it's just too tempting to look at the How To Tip of the Day so may have to remove that widget!
